That’s right! After a hard year of working on my Master’s at Ryerson University the three new episodes of Well Versed are starting to appear. You can download the first episode on Women here or even subscribe in iTunes here. Episodes 2 and 3 will be online shortly and are on Tradition and War.
A huge thanks goes out to all the professors, administrators and staff of Ryerson University who helped with this project, especially Dana Lee, Lori Beckstead, Kevin Konarzewski, Aina Arro, and Henry Warwick. Also, a huge thanks to my family, partner, and friends. Of course, this season would not be possible without the support, words, and creative energy of so many fine Toronto poets. Each one is credited on the site and they truly deserve your support.

Host, Brian Cauley, has just been accepted into Ryerson University’s Masters program in Media Production. While Season Two has been a long time coming, this new development brings exciting new episodes closer to you. The production of Season Two will be Brian’s focus during the program, with an intention to deliver an even better season that One. Subscribe to Well Versed in iTunes to get the new episodes when they arrive.

Just over 3 months ago Well Versed launched the archival episodes of Season One. Since then there has been a frantic search to contact as many poets across Canada as possible in an effort to recruit submissions for Season Two. Many publishers and poets have been sending amazing books of poetry, however Well Versed is lacking in recorded submissions.
There is nothing like the recorded voice of an author reading their own works. So, to all you poets and poetry fans this is a call to you: Go out. Seek the recorded word. Fill out the comment form below for all submissions and submission related questions.

As I mentioned one-and-one-half months ago I was getting episodes from Season One ready to publish on Well Versed.org. It is with great pleasure that I can say twelve of the eighteen episodes recorded from October 2007 thru April 2008 can be downloaded in the Podcast section, or subscribe in iTunes
